If you felt unwelcomed in other recovery support groups, then MARA may be the right place for you. MARA is a non-traditional 12-step recovery support group that is based on supporting a safer lifestyle that doesn’t include abstinence. All belief systems-both religious and secular- are welcome and included. Non-judgment is our code.
This meeting is held in-person at Sunrise’s Drop-In Community Center at #46 Westgate Shopping Center next to Oriental Pavilion. Call 828-552-3858 if you have any questions or need directions.
