Mission

Through the wisdom of lived experience, Wilkes Recovery Revolution, Inc. is creating a community where recovery from addiction is possible through; Restoring Hope, repairing Lives and Rebuilding Community.

History

Wilkes Recovery Revolution founder and Executive Director, Devin Lyall had to leave Wilkes County to access the services needed to support her recovery. So when she returned in 2014, she dedicated herself to providing peer support and housing to others in need in the community. Devin started out by working as a Certified Peer Support Specialist for a local nonprofit before starting Wilkes Recovery Revolution (WRR). WRR opened the county’s first transitional housing facility and has gone on to host eight unique programs. Through these programs WRR provides housing, syringe exchange services, naloxone, a space to work on wellness, employment services, dental assistance, transportation, crisis assistance, a work program with a living wage and a community outreach and education program.
