Peer Support is an evidence-based profession certified through the UNC School of Social Work where peers utilize their lived experience to provide support, education, and resource navigation for others on their wellness journeys. Peer Supports are found in all sectors including healthcare, justice systems, mental health, non-profit, treatment facilities and for-profit businesses and organizations.
Presenters will speak on topics ranging from the latest trends and research on peer support and the impact that peer support has in filling in gaps to continums of care .
